COMMITTEE
Who We Are
For a pantomime group this size to run it needs a decent committee behind it and we think we have a good mix people,
the strength is the good range of skills and experiences within the group.
The committee is made up of 3 principle roles with an additional 10 members.
All of which are volunteers and all of which are needed to run the Minehead Panto operation on a yearly basis.
PETER THOMPSON
Chairman
Peter has been with Minehead Panto People for over 15 years now and a great support to Amateur dramatics within Minehead generally.

As if Peter doesn't have enough to do with chairing the Minehead Panto People, he is also a great representation on the MATA board.
KRIS MCNEILL

A very keen member of MPP since 1990
Taking on roles in many of our pantos. Principal boy in Mother Goose 1989 when we bought home the Cinderella trophy. Principal boy in Puss in Boots. Beladonna the witch in Humpty Dumpty . Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. Spirit of the Ring in Aladdin.
I joined the chorus in two productions.
I helped back stage in a couple of productions with props.
I hire, and search out new wigs for most of the pantos, and dress the ones we have in store.
I have directed seven pantomimes, and I loved every minute of it. The first "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", and the last one was "Hansel and Gretel "
I help with the coordination of costumes in many of our productions. We hire most of them but still have a considerable amount of costumes in our store to keep check on. At the moment I am working on the coordination of costumes for our 2022 April production of Aladdin.

'Mac' has been with Minehead Panto People for over 30 years and played the Dame very successfully for most those years.
